Elainia ‘Lainey’ Christensen, had joie de vivre

Elainia "Lainey" Noelle Christensen, was called to the stars Friday, Feb. 5, 2021, at 2 years old.  She was born Dec. 11, 2018, in Newark, daughter of Kathryn Elaine Christensen.

Although Lainey was not part of this world for very long, her impression on it is everlasting. She was precocious, happy, and contagiously excitable.  Lainey loved learning, people, the colors yellow and pink, sharks (especially baby sharks!), and puppies and kitties.  She loved noodles and pizza, and spent her time surrounded by loved ones, relentless in her joie de vivre.  Everyone who met her fell in love at first word.

Lainey is survived by her mother, Kathryn Christensen; her grandparents: Carol and Bill Marden and Mark and Julianna Christensen; her aunt and uncle, Grace and Bobby Christensen; and her aunt, Samantha Christensen.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no in-person service.
