‘In Case You Get Hit by a Bus’ planning guide talk set July 16
The authors of the life-planning book “In Case You Get Hit by a Bus: How to Organize Your Life Now for When You’re Not Around Later” will present a live, online discussion at 5 p.m., Monday, July 19, sponsored by the Lewes Public Library, Seaside Jewish Community and Browseabout Books.
An organized life is far easier to live – and leave behind. Authors Abby Schneiderman, Adam Seifer and Gene Newman present a simple, step-by-step program to help even the most disorganized folks take control of personal details. Readers will learn to navigate sensitive conversations with family, manage passwords and digital access, organize assets and debts, understand medical and legal documents, make plans for heirlooms and more. The stress-free solutions provided in “In Case You Get Hit by a Bus” will help people get the details of their lives in order so loved ones won’t have to scramble in a crisis.
Schneiderman and Seifer are co-founders of Everplans, a leading company in digital life planning. Schneiderman is an industry expert in the areas of digital estate planning, technology and consumerism. Co-author Gene Newman serves as Everplans’ editorial and education director, and has spent his career as a writer, editor and content leader.
The discussion is free to the public. Registration is required. To sign up, go to lewes.lib.de.us and visit the Virtual Programs for Adults page.
