Members of Sussex Teenage Republicans had a fun, successful second annual Thanksgiving bonfire hosted by the Fadden family members at their home.
Attendees roasted hot dogs, burgers and s'mores over the open fire. They enjoyed learning about the original Thanksgiving Proclamation given by President George Washington, and the role of the U.S. and state attorneys general.
STARS members were also entertained by local home-grown musicians in the group with an original composition from Max Fadden. They enjoyed hearing about the college experience from Past Chair Gus Fadden.
STARS’ next event will be attending Wreaths Across America Day at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 18, at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
