Davis, Bowen & Friedel Inc. recently announced Christie L. Murphy and Mathew C. Snider have joined the firm and will be working in the Milford office.

Joining the team as an executive assistant, Murphy will serve as the right-hand person to assist the civil engineering team in Milford. She is responsible for ensuring that quality control is met on a variety of projects, including preparing, tracking and submitting various applications and reports. She will also be maintaining project-related correspondence with clients, and state and local agencies, as well as performing several other supporting tasks for the civil engineering department. Murphy brings nearly 20 years of experience as a supervisor for the City of Milford’s Solid Waste Division. Her role at DBF is crucial to successfully running the office.

An architectural CAD II technician, Snider is working toward his associate degree in architectural engineering technology at Delaware Technical Community College. He will assist in the day-to-day production of architectural drawings. He is responsible for preparing and coordinating various construction documents alongside DBF senior architects, as well as recording on-site field measurements.

“With the demand for quality help at an all-time high, we are gratified to welcome such talented individuals and look forward to seeing how they will grow within the firm,” said Ring W. Lardner, PE, DBF principal.
