Patricia Anne Jones, loved her family

Patricia Anne Jones (née Beattie), 80, of Lewes, passed away Friday, Aug. 12, 2022. She was born in Darby, Pa., to the late William C. and Dorothy “Doris” (Cooke) Beattie. Patricia grew up in Ridley Twp., Pa.

Patricia attended Our Lady of Peace School, Milmont Park, and graduated from Ridley High School in 1960. She worked as a teller many years ago at the former Delaware County National Bank (Southeast Bank) in Chester, Pa. Patricia moved to Claymont, then lived in Punta Gorda, Fla., and later New Hampshire, before coming to Lewes in 1998.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Jones; her son, John-Michael Jones (Jennifer); her daughter, Kellianne Birchler (Wes); her seven grandchildren: Christopher Weber (Jackie), Timothy Weber (Allison), Christina Freiman (Jamie), Julianne Weber, Matthew Jones, Mark Jones and Jessica Birchler; her seven great-grandchildren: Luke, Noah, Wyatt, Jonah, Ryker, Emmalyn and Talan; her four sisters: Diane Seibert, Marianne DeLacey (Michael), Jenise Walsh (Patrick) and Doris Seibert (deceased); and her nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Hwy., Lewes, where friends may call beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will take place later in Gulf Pines Memorial Park, Englewood, Fla.
