Ellendale Community Civic Improvement Association holds BBQ fundraiser

The Ellendale Community Civic Improvement Association held a barbecue fundraiser Oct. 29, at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church on Route 16, where they celebrated the success of the long campaign to bring clean water to the community.
Proceeds from the event benefit the New Hope area in Ellendale. ECCIA is working on a project to renovate 10 house trailers. The trailers will go from uninhabitable to real, usable homes.
