The Body Shop Teaches Healthy Living at The Kids Cottage
This week the Body Shop went to the Kids Cottage to teach young students (3-5 yrs. old) about the importance of eating healthy and moving their bodies. The two-day program consisted of: yoga stretching, a fun bodyweight workout, and the children made two healthy snacks (protein peanut butter balls, and a cereal bracelet or necklace).
Be the example for your family and children! Be the first to prioritize your health! Get your children involved with making healthy foods and working out! Go for a family walk, a bike ride, a gym session.... Let them think of healthy meals to make that week. In doing so, it opens a chance to talk about healthy vs. unhealthy meals.
