Millsboro High School Class of 1958 holds 65th reunion

Providing musical entertainment was classmate David Shugard a retired Indian River School District administrator and former director of the nationally acclaimed Sussex Central Junior High Band.

The Millsboro High School Class of 1958 gathered June 24 at Plantation Lakes in Millsboro for its 65th class reunion.
Of the original 44 classmates, 18 were in attendance. Traveling the longest distance was Shirley Littleton Gooding from Florida. Attendees enjoyed musical entertainment from classmate and accomplished trumpet player David Shugard, who performed songs from the 1950s. Millsboro High’s final graduating class year was1969, when it merged with the former Georgetown High School to become Sussex Central High School.
