Pairadice Equestrian Center hosts jumper show event

Pairadice Equestrian Center, of the Chesapeake Bay Horse Show Association, held its final jumper show competition of the season Sept. 10, when riders of all ages competed for ribbons, banquet points and bragging rights for the off season.

Events included were Division 1 Low Schooling Jumpers (2-foot-6-inch to 2-foot-9-inch jumps), Division 2 Puddle Jumpers (2-foot to 2-foot-3-inch jumps) and Division 3 Bunny Hoppers (18-inch jumps).

Winning the Low Schooling Jumpers division was Emmie James on Finnegan, while the reserve was Alyssa Kelly on Union Charm.

Taking top honors in the Puddle Jumpers event was Hunter VanReenan on Hasta Ahora, with the reserve as Ella Pittsinger on Bail Me Out.

The champion in the Bunny Hoppers category was Izzy Zigman on I’mTooHotToHandle, while the reserve was Kassidy Brown on Ace.
