Susan Giove of Sussex named 2023 Delaware Realtor of Year

Dr. Susan N. Giove, a member of the Sussex County Association of Realtors, has been named the 2023 Delaware Realtor of the Year.

The award was presented by Chrissy Steele, 2023 Delaware Association of Realtors president, during the association’s annual Delaware Realtors 302 Welcome Reception held at Hyatt Place in Dewey Beach. Giove was also honored with a special citation from the Delaware House of Representatives, presented by Rep. Kevin Hensley, D-Odessa.

Giove boasts more than 15 years of industry experience and has held various roles within the association, including committee work and presidencies at SCAOR and DAR. Her impressive list of designations, including ABR, CIPS, CRS, CDPE, e-PRO, RSPS and SRS, highlights her commitment to professional development.

Giove's dedication to the industry is evident in her recent completion of National Association of Realtors Mediation and Ombudsman Training. She not only focuses on her own education, but also contributes to the industry by teaching continuing education classes in Delaware and actively serving the community.

This annual award honors the Delaware Realtor whose outstanding service has delivered positive impact to Realtor organizations on the national, state and local levels as well as the real estate industry and community.

The program opened an annual two-day conference for DAR members featuring continuing education, professional development, networking activities and a vendor expo.
