Friends of Rehoboth library raise $50,000 to support programming

The Friends of the Rehoboth Beach Public Library recently presented a check in the amount of $50,000 for the library. The funds will support the library’s 2024 programming for children and adults, as well as the purchase of new materials for its collections of books, ebooks, audiobooks, DVDs and periodicals.
The Rehoboth Beach Public Library is an independent library and relies on donations for the purchase of new materials. A full 100% of the library’s collection is funded by the Friends, whose annual fundraisers include the 30 Chances to Win Daily Raffle and the annual cocktail party.
