It may still be February but a beautiful weekend is on tap for the Delaware and Maryland beaches. With it comes a perfect opportunity to get outside and enjoy the region before things start picking up in earnest in the coming weeks and months.
We invite you all to enjoy the calm before the storm, so to speak, before the high season kicks off for 2024. Visit your favorite restaurant, go for a relaxing stroll on the boardwalk, and take advantage of the meter-free parking while you still can.

2024 Delaware State Fair Concert Preview
The concert lineup for the 2024 Delaware State Fair was announced last week with several headliners and top artists again scheduled for the 10-day summertime event in central Delaware.
Headlining this year's fair will be 80s sensation Rick Springfield, renowned star Ludacris, and Brantley Gilbert, among others.
Here's the full lineup for this year's Delaware State Fair, scheduled for July 18-27 in Harrington, Delaware:

Annual Mac & Cheese Cookoff (February 10)
Macaroni and cheese lovers will be descending on Ocean City this weekend for the resort city's annual mac and cheese cookoff competition.
Scheduled for 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, this delicious competition will be held at the Residence Inn on Seabay Lane and is a competition among several local restaurants in Maryland's favorite summertime resort.
Enjoy live music and complimentary drinks, and be sure to vote for your favorite macaroni and cheese dish. Door prizes and raffles will also be part of this special event.
General admission is $45 for adults, $15 for anyone under 21 years of age, and free to children ages 5 and under.
