Kids take their turn to run with the bull in Dewey

Dewey Business Partnership held the annual Kids’ Bull Run June 29 on the beach at Dagsworthy Avenue.
Families gathered on the beach at 10:30 a.m. for a dance party, free T-shirts, games and, of course, the infamous run with The Starboard bull. Brooklyn Montgomery took on the role of the matador and ended the day with a victory.
Washington Capitals mascot Slapshot, Baltimore Ravens mascot Poe, University of Delaware mascot YoUDee and the Starboard Shark also made appearances at the event.
The beloved Dewey Beach tradition continued with some fun adult festivities at The Starboard. The annual event is a fundraiser for the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company.

The Dewey Business Partnership tent handed out free T-shirts, ribbons, flags and red roses.
