Gallery 50 to host reception with artist Jane Knaus Aug. 9

Gallery 50 announced Petals and Panoramas, an exhibition of floral and sunrise paintings by Jane Knaus, will be on display through Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 50A Wilmington Ave., Rehoboth Beach.

A resident of Rehoboth Beach, Knaus will be available to discuss her work at the opening reception set for 5:30 p.m., Friday Aug. 9.

Knaus she she drew inspiration for Petals and Panoramas from the beauty of the surrounding area.

She has received national recognition for her publication and exhibit work. Her paintings are in numerous private collections across the country.

Knaus attended the University of California at Berkeley and earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in painting. She had a long career as a creative director at Montgomery College in Maryland.
