Aquacare Athletics launches services at The Factory in Lewes

December 6, 2024

Aquacare Physical Therapy announced the launch of Aquacare Athletics, an innovative initiative to provide mobile sports medicine.

Earlier this year, Aquacare introduced mobile services whereby its physical therapists travel to a client’s home, workplace, pool or fitness center. In similar fashion, Aquacare Athletics will bring quality physical therapy and sports medicine services directly to clients, sports teams and athletes of all ages.

The Factory in Lewes will serve as the central hub for Aquacare Athletics. The partnership allows Connor Drislane, PT, DPT, to see patients at The Factory’s state-of-the-art facility where he can provide a wide range of services, from sports medicine to dry needling to golf performance therapy and more.

"We are excited to embark on this transformative journey," said Cara Konlian, CEO of Aquacare Physical Therapy. "This partnership underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional care and fostering deeper community engagement across all our locations."

Drislane has years of experience in sports medicine and athletics. A graduate of Ithaca College, he played Division III football and worked as a personal trainer. He has completed McKenzie coursework, is a certified vestibular and concussion therapist and a certified Titleist Performance Instructor, and is certified in dry needling. Drislane has been with Aquacare for more than six years and also serves as regional director, overseeing all six of the Delaware clinics.

Aquacare Athletics’ comprehensive services will combine cutting-edge rehabilitation techniques with performance-focused training, supporting athletes of all levels in achieving their peak potential.
