I was pleased to see the picture of U.S.S. City of Lewes in the Nov. 21 issue of the Cape Gazette. The caption highlighted the role of Lewes-based ships and sailors in World War I at home and abroad. Criticism of public figures is permissible. Endorsement letters for political candidates are no longer accepted. Templates, form letters and letters containing language similar to other submissions will not be published.
