Jacqueline E. Sloan, former Miss Millsboro
Jacqueline Evans Sloan, 71, of Fairlawn Heights, Ohio, passed away at home Sunday, March 25, 2012.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John M. Sloan, formerly of Pinewater Farm near Lewes; daughters Cynthia Sloan Thompson, Juliet (Dan Beaver) Sloan and Patricia Sloan; grandchildren John Thompson, Luke Thompson, Bronwyn Beaver and Victoria Beaver; sisters Judith Poch, June (Andre) Blaylock and Jill (William) Landon; and brother the Rev. John H. (Joan) Evans Jr. She will be missed by many other friends and family.
Her ties to the Cape Region include winning the title of Miss Millsboro in 1958. Her family is comforted knowing that she is in heaven with Jesus.
