The Nov. 3 Rehoboth Art League Holiday Fair is fast approaching. This fine craft show will feature more than 30 artists from the Mid-Atlantic Region displaying and selling their work.
The one-day event will offer a wide selection of original fine art and fine crafts including painting, jewelry, clay/pottery, wearable fiber art, glass, wood, metal, mixed media work, and gourds and baskets.
The artists participating include Dolores Andrew. Arden Bardol, Pam Blessinger, Leslie Boehlert Woody, Pamella Bounds-Seemans, Brenda Butterfield, Jacqueline Chmiel, Carmela Coleman, John Cooley, Mary Costa, Barbara Crowl, Marcia Cupschalk, JoAnne DeFiore, Perry Drevo, Tia Eichhorn, Scott Ennis, Julie Farrimond, Susan Gist, Susan Gladstone, Sarah Houde, Iakomii Irina, Fay Kempton, Jane Laszek, Viers Mace, Grant Massey, Wayne McDermott, Joan Mulholland, John O’Brien, Wesner Stack, Jeffrey Stambaugh, Jeff Stickle, Marjean Storey, Yandong Wang and Beatrice Whitehead.
The $5 admission fee includes one free ticket for the silent auction. Additional tickets are also sold. The assortment of items for the auction includes one piece of artwork from each artist in the Holiday Fair and items from local businesses.
The Holiday Fair hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rehoboth Art League campus at 12 Dodds Lane in Henlopen Acres. Plan to spend the day and enjoy lunch at the VIA Holly Café and check out the selection of garden holiday items presented by the Sussex Gardeners at the Paynters Gallery. Music during the day will be provided by Angela Natrin and Chris Johnson. The participating artists will have spaces in the Corkran and Tubbs gallery, the Chambers Studio and the historic Homestead.
