Cape Henlopen Leo Club holding mulch fundraiser through March 8

The Cape Henlopen Leo Club is conducting a mulch fundraiser through Friday, March 8, with a goal of selling 3,000 bags of mulch to area property owners.  The club is also offering organic garden soil and potting mix.

Orders will be ready for pickup from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, March 23.  For customers who live within 10 miles of Cape Henlopen High School, Leos will also deliver mulch between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. the same day for an additional $20 fee.

All products come from a Delaware company.  Nature's Pride Select Mulch comes in colored (red, black or brown) and hardwood varieties.  Colored mulch costs $3.50 per bag for orders of 1-19 bags and $3.25 per bag  for orders of 20 or more bags.  Hardwood mulch is $3.25 per bag for orders of 1-19 bags and $3 per bag for orders of 20 or more bags.  Each bag is two cubic feet.

Nature's Pride Select Organic Garden Soil is priced at $4.75 per bag, 1.5 cubic feet.  Nature's Pride Organic Potting Mix with Worm Power, 32-quart size, is $5.50.
