Tidewater Physical Therapy welcomes Susan Pender as clinical director

Tidewater Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Associates P.A. announced that they have hired Susan L. Pender, MPT as the new clinical director and senior physical therapist for their Georgetown location.

Pender, who has her master of physical therapy degree, comes to Tidewater Physical Therapy with over 20 years of experience in the physical therapy field. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1992. Pender completed her undergraduate degree in biology from Hood College in Frederick, Md., in 1992 and her master of physical therapy from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va., in 1995.

“We are excited to have someone of Susan’s experience and level of education leading our Georgetown clinic. Susan is dedicated to educating her patients on their condition and the prescribed treatment plan,” says Jennifer Walter, COO of Tidewater Physical Therapy.Pender will provide quality, comprehensive rehabilitation services. Her interests include musculoskeletal dysfunction and headaches, orthopedics, geriatrics, manual therapy, vestibular disorders, lymphedema and Parkinson's disease.
