Lisa J. Gosnell, advocate for animals
Lisa J. Gosnell, 61, of Georgetown, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015, at her residence. Lisa was born Feb. 20, 1954, in Beebe Hospital, Lewes. She is the daughter of the late Edmund B. and Lydia (Shaw) Gosnell.
Lisa attended St. Edmond's Catholic School and Cape Henlopen High School both in Lewes. She worked many years with her father at Resort Galleries in Rehoboth Beach. She was an avid reader, loved puzzles and participated in trivia at the Grotto Grand Slam in Lewes on Tuesday nights. Lisa was an advocate for animals and is survived by her two beloved felines, Yoda and OBI-WAN.
Lisa is survived by her sister, Nancy Fifer of Lewes; a nephew, John Fifer and his family of Milford; and three cousins, Mike Shaw of Wilmington, Thomas Inderlied of Virginia and Kathy Wells of Arizona.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes.
