Dimitra Yoga donates to Friends of Lewes Canalfront Park

October 20, 2015

The Friends of the Lewes Canalfront Park received a $500 donation from Dimitra Yoga, returning to the community offerings received at the free weekly Sunday morning sessions held in the park during the summer. The gift was presented by Dimitra Kotanides, representing her local studio, to the Friends of Lewes Canalfront Park.

Kotanides said, “Sunday morning Yoga in the Park is a highlight for Dimitra Yoga. I'm so pleased that in our fifth year we continue to have such an increase in attendees, both residents and visitors, who love this idyllic setting. I would like to thank the all the beautiful souls who attend class on Sunday mornings beginning Mother's Day through Labor Day weekend. You are an inspiration to us at Dimitra Yoga. And thanks to Lewes Canalfront Park who welcome us every season. Much love from all of us here at Dimitra Yoga back to the Cape community and we look forward to seeing you again on May 8, 2016.”

Accepting on behalf of Friends of Lewes Canalfront Park, Board Chair Janet Sydnor said, “This wonderful contribution helps sponsor a full calendar of great events for the entire family during the summer and fund capital improvements and landscaping additions to our beautiful public park.”
