$138,000 raised to fight hunger

The Harry K Foundation held its Third Annual Christmas Gala at Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club Dec. 12. The occasion was marked with a presenting of the colors by the Dover Air Force Base Honor Guard and a drill by the Cape Henlopen JROTC.
The outpouring of support by the 260 attendees helped raise $138,000 which will go straight toward making sure no child in Delaware goes hungry.
The Harry K Foundation is a 501c3 not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to defeat childhood hunger in Delaware and to ensure that no child in Delaware goes to bed hungry. Through its annual fundraising efforts, the foundation vows to donate 100 percent of its proceeds to help alleviate the problem of food insecurity.
