Buy tickets by Feb. 4 for Feb. 10 Zwaanendael Women's Club Valentine's Tea and Fashion Show
The Annual Valentine’s Tea and Fashion Show hosted by the GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club of Lewes will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Lewes Presbyterian Church on Kings Highway. Because of the event's increasing popularity, this is the third year in a row the venue has been changed to accommodate those who wish to attend.
The tea will include a fashion show featuring items from local shops in downtown Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. Admission is $25 and includes a catered lunch of assorted tea sandwiches, fruit salad and more. Desserts will be prepared by the Zwaanendael ladies. Assorted teas, water with lemon, and raspberry iced tea will be available.
Proceeds raised by the GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club are used to benefit local charities and to fund annual scholarships the club supports.
The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is a unifying force, bringing together local women’s clubs, with members dedicated to strengthening their communities and enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service. Throughout the state of Delaware there are 23 General Federation Clubs hosting more than 900 women.
