Robert Lewis Lake, business owner

Robert "Bobby" Lewis Lake, 60, of Millsboro, was born Jan. 23,1956, in Charleston, S.C. to the late Ernest L “Sonny” Lake and Bertha Lee Lewis. Robert departed this life Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford.

Bobby enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his old friends, and especially time with his children and grandchildren. He was also a member of the armed forces (Navy). He was self-employed many years as and construction business owner.

He survived by his two sons Robert “BJ” Lake of Annapolis, Md. and Phoenix Lake of Millsboro; one daughter, Hunter Lake of Millsboro; and his closest friend, Valerie Cannon of Millsboro; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild; six brothers, Russell Lake (Mary) of Salisbury, Md., Ernest L. Lake of Smyrna, Charles Daniel Lake and his significant other Tammy of Derry, N.H., Rodney Davis (Phimthong) of Selbyville, Jimmy Lake of Ocean City, Md.; sisters, Vivian Willey and her significant other (Roger Adams) of Laurel, Dorothy Neill (Harry) Delmar, Wanda Jones (Jimmy) Salisbury, Md., Melody Collins (Elbert) of Laurel and Angela Brohawn of Laurel; and of host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Celebration of life service will be held Monday, Feb 15, at 11 a.m., at Seaford Funeral Home, 427 North Front St., Seaford.
