‘First Settler’ book signings to benefit Fourth Street Preserve
The Greater Lewes Foundation announced proceeds from its sales of “The First Settler of Lewes,” authored by Mike Rawl, GLF director, will support the campaign to save the Fourth Street Preserve.
The book traces 365 years of Lewes history through stories of the families who lived at and owned the Preserve over that time.
Rawl will sign copies of books sold from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Lewes Public Library, and from 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 19, at the Inn at Canal Square, Lewes.
The GLF is offering signed copies for sale online via the campaign website, osalewes.org and at the foundation office above Agave restaurant at 135 Second St., Lewes.
Copies of the book can also be purchased from Biblion in Lewes and Browseabout Books in Rehoboth Beach, as well as via Amazon.
