Author Maribeth Fischer to speak at Rehoboth library Dec. 10

The Rehoboth Beach Public Library will host a talk with local author Maribeth Fischer to discuss her newest release, “A Season of Perfect Happiness,” at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 226 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach.

Founder of the Rehoboth Beach Writers’ Guild, Fischer has written three novels and several essays about loss, grief and acceptance. She is a two-time winner of the literary Pushcart Prize. 

“A Season of Perfect Happiness” fundamentally questions what makes a good mother while offering a heartrending portrayal of one woman’s quest to find her voice.
