Barbara Flores, loving mother
On Thursday, March 18, 2022, Barbara Flores, a very loving and nurturing mother of two beautiful children, passed away at age 59. She was born Sept. 13, 1962, in Milford.
Barbara was not only a free spirit, but she also opened her heart to any animal or person in need. She took pride in her cleaning and was passionate about everyone she cared for. They were more than just friends; they became her family. Barbara was a very colorful and vibrant person and found her comfort on the beach. She was fantastic at decorating; you can see vibrancy in everything she touched. Barbara will always be remembered for her unique laugh.
Barbara was proceeded in death by her father, Elwood Wright; and her stepfather, James Hartman. She is survived by her mother, Shirley Hartman; her daughters: Elyse Flores and Kayla Flores; her sister, Sharon Browning; her half-sister, Nicole Gleason; her half-brother, Kirk Wright; her stepbrothers: David Hartman and Mark Hartman; and serval nieces and one nephew.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Sunday, March 27, at Blue Water Grill, 226 Main St., Millsboro.
Final care for Ms. Flores has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes, Dodd-Carey Chapel, Georgetown.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Barbara’s memory to a local animal shelter.
