Blanche A. Hudson, finally at peace

Mrs. Blanche A. Hudson, 75, of Selbyville received her wings the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015. Blanche had a long illness and is finally at peace.

She leaves behind her devout husband, Harry W. Hudson of Selbyville; six children, Craig Hudson (Catherine Simms) of Dover; Celeste Arrington (Herbert) of Coatesville, Pa.; Denise Rowley of Dover; Harry T. Hudson (Cheila) of Salisbury, Md.; Aaron Hudson and Alan Hudson, both of Millsboro; along with a brother-in-law, Alvin Hudson (Esther) and two sisters-in-law, Reesena Jones of Dagsboro, and Malona Hayward (Joseph) of Harbeson; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two aunts, Lillian Gibbs and Betty Jernigan (Johnny) as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, with a viewing one hour prior. Burial will follow at Zoar Golden Acres.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to either the American Cancer Society or Heartland Hospice.
