Coolspring Presbyterian Church welcomes new pastor
Coolspring Presbyterian Church recently announced the Rev. Dr. Anne Ledbetter as its new pastor. She began her ministry at Coolspring in February.
Ledbetter's most recent position was as chaplain at Heron Point in Chestertown, Md. She has served in various church positions in Delaware and Texas.
Ledbetter earned her master of divinity degree at Austin Theological Presbyterian Seminary in Austin, Texas, and her doctorate in ministry at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Ga. Her doctoral project was making a spiritual connection with people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Ledbetter is a trained yoga instructor. She enjoys leading worship and companioning people at significant junctures in life, whether joyous (births, marriages, graduations, promotions) or grievous (loss, sickness, divorce, depression.)
Founded in 1726, Coolspring Presbyterian Church holds worship services at 9:30 a.m., Sundays in the meetinghouse, followed by fellowship in the community hall at 28843 Log Cabin Hill Road west of Lewes.
