The Col. David Hall Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will welcome visitors to the Thomas Maull House from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7, at 536 Pilottown Road, Lewes. Garbed in Colonial costumes, docents will show guests through the historical home.
This year, the chapter will be showcasing its renovated 1890 kitchen addition, rebuilt with funds from a legislative grant, a Crystal Foundation grant and members’ donations.
In addition to tours, there will be a bake sale with proceeds to benefit maintenance of the house.
One of the oldest houses in Delaware, the historic 1739 home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Public parking is available on the canal side of the property.
