Dewey Business Partnership lights up the night to welcome holidays
Dewey Business Partnership lit up the night with its annual Christmas tree lighting Nov. 30 at Fifer’s.
DJ Manny Mann provided music and entertainment for attendees, and even called Mrs. Claus and arranged for she and Santa to come. The pair arrived in fashion on a Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company fire truck.
Several vendors provided food and drinks for guests of all ages as they awaited the lighting.
Dewey Business Partnership also coordinated a gift tree, for which folks could purchase raffle tickets to win a variety of prizes from the tree. Everyone who bought a ticket won a prize.
Once the tree was officially lit, children waited in line to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him their Christmas wishes.
