Fresh Catch Seafood Market is ready for a great summer season

Fresh Catch Seafood is a small business seafood market that is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday to Monday, at 32008 Long Neck Road, Millsboro. 

The market offers a variety of seafood options, including steamed Maryland crabs, little neck clams, top neck clams, homemade Maryland-style crab cakes, Texas shrimp, salmon, dry scallops, lobster, oysters and snow crabs. 

“Everything is always fresh and never frozen,” said co-owner Ron Smith. 

Fresh Catch Seafood is owned and operated by Carol and Ron “Duffy” Smith. They also have great help from Dallas Rhodes and Chris Aguayo. 

Ron’s parents owned Captain Jim’s Seafood in Queenstown, Md., for 16 years, where Ron held the manager position. He has also been a waterman for more than 35 years. Ron and Carol eventually made the move to Delaware to be closer to family. They opened Fresh Catch Seafood 12 years ago. 

Rhodes and Aguayo are excited to carry out the future of the business and hope to make expansions in coming times.
