Introduction to watercolor sessions begins Feb. 12
Milton Arts Guild will offer a five-part, Introduction to Watercolor for the Beginner class with artist Anne Buck teaching one session per month through June.
Sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturdays, Feb. 12, March 12, April 9, May 14 and June 11.
Classes will cover the basics of watercolors, including supplies, color values and composition. Each class will build on the one before so students learn to create beautiful landscapes.
Buck is an award-winning watercolorist. Her art has been informed by her education in ornamental horticulture and landscape design. She has studied watercolor with nationally recognized artists such as Mary Whyte, Charles Reid and Janet Rogers. Buck is a member of the International Watercolor Society, Delaware Watercolor Society and Rehoboth Art League. She is also the past president and current education director of the Milton Arts Guild.
