Kurt Lee Fink, drywall contractor
Kurt Lee Fink, 57, of Millsboro passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016 at home. He was born April 29, 1959, in Northfield, Ohio, to the late Eugene D. and Rosemary V. Fink.
He was a drywall contractor, one of the fastest drywall hangers in his time. He had a passion for motorsports, enjoyed dirt bike racing, fishing, boating, water-skiing and snow-skiing. He loved his tools, and you could always find him working or fixing something from remodeling to motors, or working in his yard. He was a loving father, papa, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many. He left us to be with our Lord Jesus, free of anguish and pain. Even in his difficult times, his love for his children and grandchildren was unconditional and everlasting. Most days you could find him playing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Ann Casteel Fink, who he married Oct. 28, 1978. He is also survived by his children: Alyson Genco of Millsboro; Jonathan Lee Fink and his wife Pamela, of Millsboro; Sarah Elbaz, also of Millsboro; and Zachariah Joseph Fink, and his wife Katelyn, of Ft. Bragg, N.C.. He has a sister: Dawn Fink, of Kennewaw, Ga.; and his brothers: Darrell Fink, and his wife Debbie, of Oconomowoc, Wis., and Craig Fink and his wife Judy, of Burton, Ohio. He also is survived by two stepsisters: Nikki Fink and Courtney Fink, both of Akron, Ohio. He has a sister-in-law, Kathy Fink; and grandchildren: Chelsea Grant; Devon Butler; Kaleb Fink; Jonathan Fink Jr.; Lorenzo Genco and Zachariah Fink. numerous extended family members, and many friends. In addition to his parents who preceded him, he was preceded by a brother, Vaughn Fink.
A time of viewing and visitation will be held from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m., Thursday, July 14, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, with a funeral service following at 1 p.m. conducted by Pastor Allen Miller. Interment arrangements are private.
