After a successful summer season of spreading the word on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk, Run Saniyah Run founder Gia Love has announced she now has a van to cast that net even wider.

The new vehicle helps her with that mission, said Love.

Naming it after her nonverbal special needs daughter Saniyah, Love founded Run Saniyah Run, a nonprofit focused on improving the lives of parents with special needs children, shortly after her daughter died in 2020.

Love opened Na Na’s Cotton Candy Kloudz on Route 1 outside Lewes in 2023 as a way to help her fund the nonprofit. In addition to more than two dozen flavors of cotton candy, Na Na’s also makes high-quality hot chocolate.

This past summer, she set up shop on the Rehoboth Beach Boardwalk. It was busy, but since the season is over, the organization is back at its Route 1 location in the parking lot of Midway Assembly of God, said Love.

Looking to the immediate future, Love said she’s beginning to collect small gifts and donations for the upcoming holiday season. All contributions are gratefully received, she said.
