Sandra I. Harrison, petroleum manager
Sandra I. Harrison, 74, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, at her home. She was born in Dover Sept. 14, 1944, to the late Thomas and Minnie (nee Thomas) Hollinger.
She served her country with the U.S. Army, and was a member of Post 28 American Legion and American Vets in Millsboro. Sandra was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing golf at Mulligan’s Point Golf Club. Sandra worked at Southern States as a petroleum manager.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her first husband, William Burke; and a sister, Ruth Barnett; and brothers, Tommy and James Hollinger.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Ralph Harrison; her stepchildren, Andrew Harrison and his wife Laura, and Julie Schneider; her sister, Mary Price; grandchildren, Mikayla Harrison, Parker Savage, Zach Savage, Simone Harrison, Will Harrison, Ethan Schneider and Sienna Harrison; nephews, Mark Hollinger, Michael Collier, Jim Hollinger, Eric Peterson and Eric’s daughter, Haylee Peterson; and nieces, Sharon Roberts and Diane Gill.
Funeral Services will be held at noon, Monday, Jan. 7, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown. A time of visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Military honors will take place during interment at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
