Sussex County League of Women Voters guest speaker Kim Hoey Stevenson shared insights and reflections from her six years of service on Sussex County's Planning & Zoning Commission during the Nov. 14 League, Libations and Learning social event held at Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach.
Focusing on its mission to empower voters and defend democracy, the local league is hosting monthly gatherings to provide information and gain understanding of current political concerns. Anyone interested in Sussex County government as well as state and national issues is always welcome to attend league events.
