Sussex Republican Women to host fall fashion show Sept. 26
In their time honored tradition of excellence, the women of the Sussex County Republican Women's Club will hold "The Magic of Fashion," a Fall Fashion Show Fundraiser and Luncheon at noon, Saturday, Sept. 26, at Abbott's Grill, Milford.
Reservations are required for the $35 per person event and may be made by contacting Sally Duveneck at scrwc11@gmail.com by Wednesday, Sept. 16. All proceeds will benefit 2016 Sussex County and state-wide Republican candidates.
Co-Chair Gale White says, “This is an event where everyone attending will be a true winner! Blooming Boutique and Cool Spring Cottage will provide a wonderful view on current fashions and a free sterling silver Trollbead bracelet and double clasp gift will be given to everyone attending the luncheon, compliments of Blooming Boutique and Trollbeads.”
SCRWC members Joan Brown, Carol Brumley, SCRWC scholarship winner Jill Guerrazzi, President Alana Keeley, Jan Stevenson and Kathy Tulley will model clothing from Blooming Boutique and Cool Spring Cottage while Rebecca McDaniel performs live at keyboard. The Sounds of the GOP, a women's chorus, will also entertain.
Other events of the day will include door prizes, a silent auction and a ticket auction, with a Grand Prize Weekend Getaway for Two at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel in Rehoboth Beach. This prize is a three-day, two-night stay in a balcony, oceanfront room and includes one dinner and two breakfasts at Victoria's Restaurant. Cool Spring Cottage will have items for sale at the event and hand-crafted patriot jewelry will also be available for sale.
