Worcester Prep seniors cap great tennis careers

The 2017 Worcester Prep girls’ tennis seniors recorded three undefeated seasons and lost only one regular-season match in their four years. They won the ESIAC Conference tournament three of those years. Stormy McGuiness of Rehoboth Beach and Eva Parks of Onancock, Va., were 39-0 in four years of regular-season play and were recently named as the Most Valuable Players of this season’s team.

Anchita Batra of Rehoboth Beach, runner-up in singles finals, received the Coach's Award. Annika Larsen of Ocean City, Md., singles champion and Player of the Conference, received the Most Improved Award.

Also winning ESIAC championships were the first doubles team of Saylar McGuiness and Misa Cammack, the second doubles duo of Eva Parks and Stormy McGuiness, and third singles winner Abby Plylar.
