Forecast uncertain for Sea Witch events
Sea Witch Festival organizers are keeping a close eye on Saturday’s weather forecast. Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce issued an update Oct. 25, stating no decision regarding the Saturday, Oct. 27 costume parade will be made until after 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26.
“In the event of unsafe weather causing cancellation of the costume parade Saturday,” states the update, “notification will be posted to the Chamber’s Facebook page and recorded updates will be available at 302-227-6446. There is no scheduled rain date for the costume parade. If the parade is cancelled, pictures can be submitted to events@beach-fun.com no later than Nov. 18 for judging and awards.”
