Tennis event benefits American Heart Association

A doubles tennis round robin to benefit the American Heart Association was played Feb. 18 at the Dave Marshall Tennis and Fitness Center at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in Lewes. The tennis event included hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction.

Many thanks to the Lewes restaurants who generously donated cuisine for this event: Annabella’s Italian Restaurant, Casa Amici (House Of Friends) and Kick’n Chicken, as well as Sally Koon, Outlet Liquors and Super Fresh in Rehoboth Beach. At the conclusion of the event, food donations were made to Casa San Francisco in Milton.

Local contributors to the silent auction were Accents, Blooming Boutique, Coolspring Cottage, Stephanie Dorman, Tressia Hickman, Hooked On Plants, Aubrey Hudson, Zeljko Jeren, Diane Johnson, Kick’n Chicken, Tom Mancusco, Brittany Marshall, Dr. Dave Marshall, Shell Affair, Janet Sims and Penny White.
