Shannon McGinn attains senior VP position at Community Bank Delaware
Community Bank Delaware recently announced the promotion of Shannon McGinn to senior vice president. McGinn began her career with Community Bank Delaware at its inception in 2006.
McGinn brings more than 30 years of human resources experience including SHRM-CP certification and serves as a member of the bank’s executive team. She leads the bank’s HR initiatives and the talent acquisition process. McGinn also assists in other areas such as recording secretary for the board of directors and marketing.
President William Jack Riddle said, “Shannon has been instrumental in making various improvements with overall compensation, benefits and employee relations. She continues to be a significant contributor toward employee hiring and retention.”
“I am very fortunate to work for a company that looks after their employees. Within the last year, the board approved paying 100% of the employees’ and dependents’ health and dental insurance premiums, allotting eight hours of volunteer time, granting a gas surcharge, not to mention establishing a starting annual wage of $45,000. Giving our employees competitive compensation and career growth opportunities is my key responsibility,” said McGinn.
McGinn is a graduate of Cape Henlopen High School and has been a longtime resident of Sussex County. She resides in Lincoln with her fiancé Bill Jones.
She can be reached at 302-348-8603 or shannon.mcginn@communitybankdelaware.com.
