Joyce Taylor Smith, loving mother

Joyce T. Smith, 92, died Monday, Jan. 16, 2023, in Port Charlotte, Fla.
She was born in Wilmington, daughter of the late Virginia and J. Harry Taylor. Joyce attended Conrad High School, the University of Delaware and was a graduate of Beacom College.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Gustavus H. Smith Jr.; and her son Randall M. Smith. She is survived by her son, Gerald Smith (Kristine) of Maui, Hawaii; and sister, Julia T. Hitchcock of New Oxford, Pa.
Services will be held at a later date at Delaware Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, any offerings can be made to a charity of choice.
