Incumbent Jessica Tyndall was reelected to the Cape Henlopen school board May 9, defeating challenger Shawn Lovenguth 2,448 to 1,396 votes.
Unofficial results reported from polling stations at Lewes Fire Hall, Mariner Middle and Rehoboth Elementary were compiled at Cape Henlopen High School, which was also a polling location.
Tyndall will be sworn in for a new four-year term at the board’s July organizational meeting. Her term will expire June 30, 2027.
