Lisa R. Lowe, loved animals

Lisa R. Lowe, 50, of Lewes, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford.

Lisa was born in Nyack, N.Y., and raised in Newark. She relocated to Lewes eight years ago and continued her passion for the culinary arts, working at various restaurants in Lewes and Rehoboth Beach. She will be remembered most for her enthusiastic personality and her free and creative spirit. She also enjoyed gardening, whether it be seasonal flowers or vegetables. She loved animals, especially her beloved Chihuahuas, Sadie and Marley. She also loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed riding for pleasure.

Lisa is survived by her son Timothy W. Burns and his son Domonic, both of Tucson, Ariz.; her mother, Margaret A. Driscoll and stepfather Bud Krautter of Lewes; her father, William R. DeCesare and stepmother Etta of Elizabethtown, Pa.; two sisters, Jennifer L. DeCesare of Newark, and Bridgette Zappacosta of Virginia. In addition, she is survived by her favorite aunt and godmother, Maureen Goldsmith and her husband Steve of Dana Point, Calif.; and her former husband, Mike Lowe of Seaford; and her uncle Robbie Stone of Massachusetts.
