Shorebreak Lacrosse finished up its undefeated season with an 11-8 victory over a tough Riptide team July 30 in the DE Turf Summer League Championship series at DE Turf in Frederica. Shorebreak downed the Flaming Windows 24-1 in the semis, while the Riptide defeated the PSU Pool Boys.
“The sport is already enjoyable,” said Shorebreak captain Franc Cook. “Adding a trophy at the end of it all makes everyone play a bit harder, and the game becomes much more fun.”
