Sling N’ Squash nets $1,400 for Wounded Warrior Project
Big Chill Surf Cantina recently donated $1,400 to the Wounded Warrior Project, raised through its annual Sling N’ Squash event held Nov. 9.
Funds were generated through registration fees and 10% of sales on event day, which brought together community members for a friendly competition and to support the cause.
"We're thrilled with the incredible turnout at this year's Sling N' Squash," said Emily Burns, marketing coordinator at Big Chill Surf Cantina. "A huge thank you to everyone who registered, spectated and contributed. We're proud to support the Wounded Warrior Project through this event and grateful to see the community come together for a fun day while supporting a great nonprofit."
