Pathways for Success snack drive supports students in need
Community members recently donated numerous healthy snacks for Pathways to Success youth during a November collection effort.
Many of the Pathways to Success students experience food insecurity. They often do not have breakfast in the morning or dinner at night. Healthy snacks help keep students nourished and ready to learn.
This year, supporters dropped off donations at Jeanine O’Donnell’s State Farm office in Lewes, Sussex County Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Georgetown Public Library and the Lodge at Historic Lewes.
Fay Blake, Pathways to Success founder and executive director, said, “Jeanine O’Donnell started Snacks for Success several years ago, and more companies have joined them as drop-off points. Our community is a giving community. These snacks will help the high school students in our program so much. Thanks to everyone who donated.”
