The Town of Dewey Beach received seven bids for its new town hall, police station and EMS facility, which in August 2024 secured an additional $1 million in funding, meeting its originally estimated $7.3 million price tag.
The official bidding period closed Jan. 17, immediately after which Deane Townsend of GMB Architecture publicly opened and read each of the submitted proposals in the order received.
According to Townsend and Dewey officials, the candidate will likely be chosen in February or late January.
